The designer
It's me, Stina. I'm an illustrator, designer, sculptor and history nerd. In 2020 I moved to Lödöse, in a house that turned out to be built on top of a medieval monastery wall. Inspired by the history of the place, I started digitally drawing figures I found in medieval manuscripts, and soon realized that the images would work well as stickers. That's how the idea was born, and since then more motifs have been added on medieval as well as other themes. Marginalia is what is usually called the small decorative figures and illustrations found in the margins of medieval writings, which is what I was first inspired by.

The products
I draw my designs digitally, either from my head or with a photo as a reference. When I draw from historical designs, I strive to stay true to the original, but they are not exact copies and have my own touch. I allow myself some artistic freedom where the product design requires it.
The stickers are printed on self-adhesive photo paper, which can withstand moderate amounts of splashes and moisture. They are primarily intended for indoor use and for use on paper, such as in notebooks, diaries, and on crafts, letters, packages and the like.
The dimensions are 176 x 124 mm unless otherwise stated in the product description. They come packaged in a protective cellophane bag with a paper top and possibly holes for hanging if desired.
The stickers are manufactured, "from ear to loaf" in my studio in Lödöse. With my own small-scale production, I can ensure high quality, small minimum orders and faster delivery. It also allows me to be flexible based on the customer's needs and wishes!
Some of the products I have developed in whole or in part with the help of a partner. I collaborate with small players in the Nordic region with a focus on sustainability.
